Robert B. Henning comes from a family in Southern Illinois with 3 generations of Coal miners. After high school, Robert served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. With a passion for the Arts and Photography, Rob attended and graduated from Ray - Vogue College of Design then went on to receive a degree in Cinematography from Southern Illinois University. Robert B. Henning is now the founder, creator and director of RobDog JIB Rentals and Technocrane Atlanta LLC.

With over 20 years of experience behind the camera, Robert has incorporated a team of highly skilled professionals utilizing Chicago’s and Atlanta’s most experienced and professional production personnel including: audio engineers, camera operators, lighting technicians, directors, and editors.

Some of Robert’s filming accomplishments includes: films that have won the Acapulco film festival, New York film festival, one film was accepted into the International film festival in Cannes, France, and two Golden Globes for work on the show “Atlanta”. As a Jib operator, Robert has won several awards for live broadcast all over world Also, in the early 90’s Robert was selected by Leo Burnett Advertising as one of the nations leading Minority commercial photographers. Robert B. Henning has three daytime Emmys for the Oprah Show, two Midwest Emmys for Fox live broadcast, five Emmy nominations and 2016 CNN Presidential Debate team award.

In addition to his many achievements in filming, Robert B. Henning is the proud member of the University of Notre Dame law school Parents Club, International Cinematographers Guild, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, National Association of Broadcast Technicians and National Veterans Foundation. He has been the feature lecturer for the Illinois School of Broadcast Communication, Arkansas State University and Clayton State Community College. His community involvement includes but not limited to University of Chicago Track Club, Jackson State University Parent Volunteer and the Boy Scout of America. Robert is the proud father of 3 children and very proud grandfather of 4 children.

Alex Cirillo, a B.A graduate from Northern Illinois University and IATSE Local 600 JIb Op/Tech , 2nd AC, and Camera Utility. Alex has worked with Robdog Productions for 3 years as an apprentice to Rob Henning, having worked everything from live events, to reality TV, and narrative projects. Working with Rob; Alex has encountered many different cameras, and jib setups to suit a clients' needs. Whether operating or assisting, Alex Cirillo is a proficient asset to Robdog Productions. In addition to JIb work, Alex works heavily on Chicago scripted dramas such as Chicago Fire, Chicago Justice, APB, Shameless and more. He is also a licensed FAA Drone Pilot.

Damond is a IATSE Grip and started his carrier with Tyler Perry studio”s and has worked on many major motion films, such as “Black Panther” and “Walking Dead.”
